Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Plan and execute purchasing activities aligned with project timelines and business needs.
- Track material requirements across design, production, fabrication, and site execution teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize vendors and suppliers for materials such as wood, metal, fabrics, hardware, lighting, accessories, and finishes.
- Maintain vendor database with performance tracking, pricing, and delivery reliability.
- Conduct periodic market research for new vendors, materials, and innovation.
Purchase Execution & Compliance
- Create purchase orders, agreements, and follow-up documentation.
- Ensure timely ordering and delivery as per BOQ, drawings, approvals, and project schedules.
- Track, verify, and approve material quality against purchase specifications.
Costing & Negotiations
- Compare quotations and negotiate pricing based on volume, long-term partnerships, and payment terms.
- Analyze landed cost, logistics, lead time, and procurement efficiency.
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with Design, Project, Production, Accounts, and Store teams to ensure accuracy and timely supply.
- Monitor backorders, pending deliveries, payment approvals, and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare weekly reports on procurement status, delays, cost variance, and stock updates.
Inventory & Material Control
- Coordinate closely with the warehouse/store team for stock planning, inward/outward, and consumption tracking.
- Ensure proper documentation and minimize wastage, pilferage, or excess stock purchase.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship skills
- Knowledge of interior materials, hardware, finishes, and furniture components
- Experience with BOQs, site-based procurement, and production supply chain
- Strong analytical and decision-making capability
- Proficiency in Tally ERP.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
