Sr. Purchase Manager

ü Develop and implement purchasing strategies in line with the company’s objectives.

ü Collaborate with various departments to understand material and product requirements.

ü Forecast procurement needs based on historical data, market trends, and business projections.

ü Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers or vendors.

ü Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best value.

ü Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors.

ü Review and processes purchase orders.

ü Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies and regulations.

ü Monitor order progress and follow up on delays, quality issues, or shipping discrepancies.

ü Oversee inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet production or operational needs.

ü Regularly assess the performance of inventory systems and make adjustments as necessary.

ü Work with warehouse teams to ensure smooth inventory turnover and avoid overstocking or stockouts.

ü Monitor and control purchasing budgets to ensure financial goals are met.

ü Conduct regular cost analysis to find cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

ü Assess and monitor the performance of suppliers based on quality, delivery time, and compliance with contracts.

ü Take corrective actions or find alternative suppliers if necessary.

ü Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.

ü Stay informed about changes in procurement laws, taxes, and import/export regulations.

ü Evaluate and manage risks in the supply chain, such as price fluctuations, supply disruptions, or geopolitical issues.

ü Communicate with internal teams (finance, production, logistics) to ensure the procurement process aligns with operational needs.

ü Facilitate smooth communication between the company and its suppliers to resolve issues quickly.

ü Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, product innovations, and emerging industry trends.

ü Stay up to date with new technologies and purchasing software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

ü Continuously review and improve purchasing processes for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
