Sr. Reinsurance Support Analyst

What You’ll Do: As our Senior Reinsurance Support Analyst, you will update and maintain policy, client, and facultative reinsurance information within the Life Company’s reinsurance administration system (TAI) to ensure that reinsurance premiums/claims are accurately administered to the Life Company’s reinsurance partners per treaty terms. This will include processing term conversions according to treaty terms, appropriately adding facultative reinsurance per underwriting request, ensuring clients with multiple policies are appropriately grouped for retention purposes, back-filling retention as dictated per treaty terms, and processing/reconciling monthly cash flows into the general ledger.

Additionally, you will be responsible for helping to respond to all reinsurer inquiries related to reinsurance premium and claim discrepancies as well as questions when audits are performed (both internally and externally). Lastly, you will also complete several monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting tasks related to reinsurance.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• College degree in business, computer science, actuarial science, or math preferred.

• Four years of reinsurance administration experience or equivalent work experience preferred but not required.

• Must have strong knowledge and working experience with spreadsheets and data manipulation.

• Strong math and analytical skills are essential.

• Insurance or financial industry experience required.

• TAI reinsurance system and reporting experience a plus.

• Strong oral and written communication skills required.

• Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.

• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
