About the Job
At Vistaprint Corporate Solutions (VCS), we empower mid-market businesses with tailored marketing solutions and innovative technologies. As part of our growing Business Intelligence & Integration team, we are looking for a Senior Salesforce Specialist to enhance our CRM capabilities and ensure smooth, efficient operations across our global sales ecosystem.
This role is pivotal in maintaining and optimizing Salesforce functionalities, enabling seamless processes, and improving data accessibility to drive decision-making. Working closely with the Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Admins and Analysts, you’ll ensure that Salesforce remains a reliable backbone for our customer-facing teams, contributing to VCS’s mission of delivering exceptional solutions to our clients.
What you’ll be doing
Own Salesforce Development & Platform Health
Be the technical owner of our Salesforce org from a development standpoint. Manage user onboarding/offboarding, IAM, roles, profiles, and configurations while also monitoring system performance, code scalability, and platform stability to ensure a secure, reliable, and high-performing environment.
Design & Build Custom Solutions
Develop scalable customizations using Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch, Queueable), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce where necessary. Translate complex business requirements into secure, maintainable, and reusable technical solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices
Support Releases, Testing, and Deployment
Contribute to the development lifecycle: analysis, design, build, test, deploy, and maintain. Participate in code reviews, create test classes to ensure 75%+ code coverage, and manage deployments across sandbox environments using Change Sets or SFDX-based CI/CD tools.
Automate and Optimize Business Processes
Leverage both declarative and programmatic tools to streamline business operations. Build and refine automations using Flows, Validation Rules, and Apex logic to eliminate manual work, minimize errors, and improve team efficiency across Sales, Service, and Operations. Test and document changes so automations stay stable as the business scales.
Deliver actionable reporting & dashboards
Create intuitive reports and dashboards that give Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Leadership the insights they need to act upon like pipeline health, quota progress, funnel conversion, and other KPIs. Translate data into clear, consumable visuals and scheduled reports.
Protect and improve data quality
Run regular data audits, manage bulk imports/exports, clean duplicates, and enforce data governance so Salesforce remains the single source of truth. Proactively identify bad data patterns and fix them at the root. Communicate any anti-patterns or non-compliance proactively.
Support integrations & light development
Develop, maintain, and optimize integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., Marketing, Finance, BI tools) using REST and SOAP APIs, Connected Apps, and middleware solutions. Ensure data synchronization, transaction integrity, and robust error handling. Manage third-party integrations (e.g., DocuSign, sales engagement tools, marketing platforms). Evaluate and implement Salesforce AppExchange solutions to enhance functionality.
Support and enable users
Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and provide quick technical resolutions. Deliver timely support, training, and documentation. Maintain documentation, process guides, knowledge articles, and support resources to improve adoption and user confidence in collaboration with our training teams
Collaborate on roadmap & strategy
Work closely with the Salesforce Architect, Admins, and Business teams to design scalable solutions and enhance platform capabilities. Participate in backlog grooming, technical design discussions, and provide input on architectural decisions and integration strategies.
What makes you a Great Candidate
3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in Apex, LWC, and declarative tools (with strong Salesforce administration knowledge)
Salesforce certifications such as:
Platform Developer I (required)
Platform Developer II, Administrator, or App Builder (preferred)
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security frameworks (Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules)
Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (incl. Amazon Connect), and Lightning Platform
Proficiency with Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch, Queueable, Schedulable), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL
Solid experience with Flows, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, and Record Types
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Connected Apps.
Experience using data management tools (Data Loader, Import Wizard, Workbench)
Experience with Change Set deployments or SFDX-based CI/CD tools (Gearset/Copado/Jenkins)
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions
Experience building reports and dashboards for actionable business insights
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
Knowledge of Salesforce best practices for governance, adoption, and scalability
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
Exposure to Einstein Analytics or Experience Cloud or any other Einstein offerings is a plus.
