Sr. SAP SD Consultant

Position Overview

The Senior SAP SD Consultant will play a key role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end Sales & Distribution processes within SAP S/4HANA. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP SD module implementation, support, and enhancement projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, conduct workshops, and design solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
• Configure and customize core SD processes, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), pricing, billing, shipping, credit, and returns management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, VMS, etc.) to ensure seamless process integration.
• Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver effective solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications for ABAP developments and coordinate with technical teams.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Deliver training sessions and prepare documentation for business stakeholders.
• Participate in SAP rollouts, system upgrades, and S/4HANA migration projects.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, including at least 2 years in S/4HANA.
• Proven track record in full lifecycle SAP implementations and post-go-live support.
• Strong experience in pricing procedures, output determination, master data management, and special business processes (consignment, intercompany, third-party sales).

Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of SAP SD functionality and integration with MM, FI, and other SAP modules.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA SD innovations, including Fiori apps.
• Skilled in preparing functional specifications and collaborating with ABAP teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in configuration and process issues.
• Familiarity with EDI, IDocs, and interface processes (advantageous).

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution (SAP S/4HANA).
• Additional SAP certifications are a plus.
