Sr SQA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality, stable, and scalable software products while collaborating closely with development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Lead end-to-end QA processes and ensure high-quality software releases.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to understand requirements and improve product quality.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and ensure QA best practices across the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups.
• Prepare and share detailed test reports with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• 2–3 years of experience in Automation Testing using Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in creating test cases, test plans, and executing test cycles.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage QA independently across multiple projects.

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
