Sr. Structural Engineer

We are hiring a Structural Engineer to join our growing tent and shade manufacturing company in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating tent structures, car parking shades, and steel/aluminum frameworks, ensuring safety, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze tent, tensile, and shade structures
• Prepare structural calculation reports and/understand shop drawings and IFC drawings
• Perform load analysis, including wind, seismic, dead load, and live load
• Ensure full compliance with UAE and international design codes
• Coordinate with site and installation teams to provide structural and technical support
• Attend and actively participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and internal project teams

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

(Tents or tensile structures experience preferred) Proficiency in:

• AutoCAD
• Ixforten 4000
• RFEM (DLUBAL)
• STAAD Pro
• PROKON
• IDEA StatiCa
• SAP2000 or similar software
• Strong knowledge of steel, aluminum, and fabric structures
• Good understanding of UAE / GCC and international design codes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
