Roles and Responsibilities.

As an Talend Lead / Sr Developer with expertise in data integration and ETL processes, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust data solutions. You will leverage your extensive experience in External Scheduler, PL/SQL, and Data Warehousing Concepts to optimize data workflows. Your contributions will enhance our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data integration and transformation, ultimately driving business success.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data integration solutions using Talend ETL to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the administration of Talend Administration Center (TAC) to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support data transformation and integration processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements for various projects.
• Optimize data workflows using External Scheduler and Scheduling Basics to ensure timely data processing.
• Implement ETL best practices to enhance data quality and integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and support for Unix Shell Scripting to automate data tasks.
• Ensure data integration solutions align with Data Warehousing Concepts for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries to improve system efficiency.
• Lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues to minimize downtime.
• Document data integration processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and drive strategic outcomes.

The annual salary for this position is between $100K- 120K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
