Sr. Tax Analyst

Summary:

AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Senior Tax Analyst to join our Tax team. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with evolving domestic and international tax regulations while supporting strategic initiatives that optimize the company’s global tax position.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review U.S. federal and state corporate income tax returns (Forms 1120, 990-T) and assist with international filings (Forms 5471, 8858, Country-by-Country reports).
  • Perform calculations and analysis for GILTI, FDII, CAMT, FTC, and §861 expense allocations to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions.
  • Prepare and review annual income tax provisions, including deferred tax implications and acquisition-related analyses.
  • Monitor and interpret OECD Pillar One and Two frameworks (including QDMTT and GloBE rules) and assess organizational impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and analyze financial data for global reporting requirements.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and support risk mitigation strategies, including due diligence for acquisitions.
  • Enhance tax process efficiency through automation, improved data management, and proactive audit readiness.
  • Document processes and mentor junior staff to ensure continuity and succession planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, including international tax and tax provision.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and international tax regulations, including GILTI, FDII, CAMT, and OECD frameworks.
  • Experience with ASC 740 and tax provision software (e.g., ONESOURCE, Corptax, Longview).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax research tools (e.g., Bloomberg Tax, CCH).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
