About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in IT recruitment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment lifecycle, hiring top technical talent, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience. This is a work-from-office role based in Kolkata, and we require candidates who can join immediately.
Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Recruitment Management
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, selection, negotiation, and final onboarding.
- Understand detailed job descriptions, technical requirements, and deliver relevant candidate pipelines.
- Manage hiring pipelines for multiple positions simultaneously with strict turnaround times.
2. Talent Sourcing & Screening
- Identify and source top-tier talent using job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, social platforms, and internal databases.
- Evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, communication, and cultural fit through structured screening calls.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate database for recurring and future requirements.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with hiring managers, delivery teams, and leadership to understand hiring priorities.
- Provide daily/weekly updates regarding recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and challenges.
- Advise hiring managers on market trends, talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and sourcing strategies.
4. Interview Coordination & Assessment
- Manage and schedule interviews including technical rounds, HR rounds, and client interviews.
- Prepare candidates thoroughly for interview stages and ensure smooth communication throughout the process.
- Gather structured feedback from interviewers and drive decision-making.
5. Offer Management & Onboarding
- Manage salary negotiation, offer discussions, and final acceptance to ensure smooth closures.
- Conduct reference checks, follow up on notice periods, and monitor candidate onboarding until joining.
- Minimize offer dropouts through effective engagement and communication strategies.
6. Recruitment Operations & Optimization
- Maintain accurate recruitment reports, dashboards, and hiring metrics.
- Improve sourcing strategies, reduce hiring time, and enhance quality of hires.
- Work with HR leadership to refine recruitment processes and employer branding initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in IT/Technical recruitment (must).
- Strong understanding of technologies such as:
- Java, .NET, PHP, Python, JavaScript/Frontend, Full Stack, Cloud, DevOps, QA, Automation, Mobile Technologies, UI/UX, Data Engineering, etc.
- Expertise in sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, GitHub, StackOverflow, and social channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Proven experience handling multiple technical requirements independently.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of recruitment metrics and reporting.
