The Sr Web Developer builds and maintains customer and partner portals using Salesforce Experience Cloud and modern web technologies. This role focuses on creating responsive, accessible interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like LWC or React. Responsibilities include integrating APIs, ensuring security and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. The developer also supports CI/CD processes, mentors team members, and promotes best practices in usability and accessibility.
Responsibilities

Oversee and drive the technical implementation of Blue Yonder websites including customer and partner portals.

Develop and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces using HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.

Design and implement complex front-end development using frameworks such as Lightning Web Component (LWC), React, Vue, or Angular.

Develop scalable back-end services and integrations supporting Salesforce and connected enterprise systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Solution Architect, Software Engineers, Web Developers, UX Designer, and Product Owners) to define and deliver technical solutions.

Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization across environments.

Oversee code reviews, mentor junior, and intermediate developers, and uphold code quality standards.

Contribute to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing for consistent release management.

Promote accessibility, usability, and responsive design across all customer and partner interfaces.

Oversee release management activities to ensure smooth deployments and minimal downtime.

Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures for Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Maintain documentation of technical designs, data models, and component libraries.

Architect and enforce performance optimization strategies, including caching, lazy loading, and code splitting.

Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher) and conduct accessibility audits.

Lead automated testing initiatives and maintain test frameworks across multiple environments.

Implement and document APIs, ensuring consistency, scalability, and proper versioning.

Integrate analytics and monitoring tools to measure and improve portal performance and user experience.

Drive continuous learning by mentoring developers, sharing best practices, and contributing to reusable code libraries.

Stay current with vendor/platform releases, web frameworks, and security best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of full stack web development experience with advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React or Lightning Web Components.

Deep experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or equivalent customer portal platform, including Apex development.

Strong understanding of API integrations, data structures, and Salesforce security model.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (such as Jest or Selenium).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Demonstrated ability to mentor team members, collaborate across functions, and deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Strong awareness of data compliance (GDPR, CCPA) and performance KPIs.

Knowledge of design collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, etc. ) required.

Salesforce Administrator or JavaScript Developer I certification preferred.
