Sr.Design & Estimation Engineer

Job Title: Sr.Design & Estimation Engineer

Minimum Education: DEE or BE- Electrical Engineering Only

Experience: 3 to 5 years exp in Control Panel Industry

Eoles & Responsibilities:

As Design Engineer:

• Understand individual project requirements and accordingly develop Electrical designs
• Accuracy in Electrical calculations
• Prepare and develop accurate drawings and designs within given time schedules
• Discuss/understand material and specifications required in a project before preparing drawing
• After receiving Enquiry, work out BOM & Panel size and work out costing
• After receiving Purchase Order, Send BOM (Bill of Material) for clients' approval.
• Send General Arrangement drawing & Electrical drawing to customer for approval
• Follow up with customer till approval is received on Drawings and BOM After approval from customer give BOM to Purchase dept. for necessary procurement
• During Panel Testing, witness the testing with Machine Shop team
• Extend support to Machine Shop team regarding drawing compliances
• Maintain up to date documentation for ISO audits etc.

As Estimation Engineer:

• Accurate evaluation of tenders/ enquiries within committed time
• Prepare an estimate based on the scrutiny of Tender documents / Enquiries received
• Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out value engineering studies.
• Pricing for electrical / automation / instrumentation systems
• Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionaries
• Reverse engineering studies before dispatch
• Maintaining ISO documentation regarding estimation process, if required (i.e. Enquiry register)
• Keep utmost confidentiality about estimates and project costing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
