Sr. Payroll Executive
Responsibility Deliverable (KRA)
Responsible for end-to-end payroll management (blue collar & white collar), employee query resolution, statutory compliance, and process improvements in payroll and audit. The role ensures accurate salary processing, budgeting support, F&F settlements, tax computation, and smooth audit management while supporting employees and enhancing systems.
Competency Required
Strong knowledge of Payroll software & HRMS (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Understanding of taxation, statutory compliances & labor laws.
Analytical ability for budgeting & cost management.
Strong problem-solving and query resolution skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing.
Communication & stakeholder management for cross-team coordination.
Process orientation with ability to identify and implement improvements.
Task & Activities
Payroll Management

Timely and accurate salary processing for blue & white collar employees.

Manage salary structures, flexi components, deductions, and statutory compliance.

Handle F&F (Full & Final) settlements for exiting employees.

Payroll reconciliations and variance analysis.
Compliance & Audit

Ensure adherence to PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory requirements.

Prepare and manage internal & external payroll audits.

Maintain records for compliance checks.
Employee Support

Address payroll-related queries and resolve employee concerns quickly.

Educate employees about salary components, tax implications, and benefits.
Budgeting & MIS

Support HR and Finance in manpower budgeting & forecasting.

Generate monthly payroll MIS, dashboards, and cost analysis.
System & Process Improvement
-
Implement automation in payroll & audit processes.

Ensure accuracy and efficiency through system upgrades and process optimization.
