Sr.Purchase Executive- Pharma

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our Pharma E-commerce operations. You will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, negotiating contracts, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring timely availability of medicines and healthcare products. The role requires strong coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics to support smooth e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable pharmaceutical vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, credit, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Process purchase orders, quotations, and agreements in line with company policies.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet online demand and avoid stockouts/overstocking.
• Track, monitor, and follow up on order deliveries to ensure timelines are met.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for stock reconciliation.
• Ensure all purchases comply with regulatory requirements (Drug License, GST, etc.).
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and MIS reports.
• Develop strong vendor relationships for long-term business benefits.
• Assist finance team with invoice verification and timely payments to vendors.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of pharma products, brands, and suppliers.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and vendor negotiations.
• Familiarity with regulatory & compliance norms in pharma (FDA, DCGI, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/Inventory management software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in Pharmacy / BBA / Commerce (MBA in Supply Chain or Pharma Management preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in pharma purchase/procurement, preferably in e-commerce or retail pharmacy.
• Knowledge of healthcare supply chain, drug distribution, and vendor networks.
