To further our growth and strengthen our connection with a global community, we are seeking a visionary Sr. Social Media Expert to join our dynamic marketing team. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing a data-driven social media strategy that amplifies our brand voice, engages our audience, and drives measurable business growth.

Job Description:

The Senior Social Media Expert will be the strategic leader of our global social media presence. You will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven social strategies that elevate brand authority, foster authentic community connections, and directly support business objectives across multiple regions. This role requires a blend of creative vision, analytical rigor, and deep experience in international social media marketing, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, or lifestyle sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy & Creation:

  • Lead the execution of a comprehensive, multi-platform social media strategy tailored to diverse international audiences.
  • Develop, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos, and reels) tailored to platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and TikTok.
  • Serve as the guardian of the brand’s digital voice, ensuring consistency, premium positioning, and cultural relevance across all regions.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, from visual identity to tone of voice (professional, empowering, innovative).

2. Social Media Management:

  • Act as the voice of GK Hair, fostering a positive, inclusive, and active community. Go beyond generic replies ,create conversations. Increasing engagement, user satisfaction, followers growth and engagement growth are the key objectives.
  • Proactively engage with followers, top creators, and professional stylists across all platforms.
  • Monitor comments and DMs with a customer service mindset, escalating issues when necessary.

3. Budget Management & Media Planning

  • Own and optimize the social media advertising budget, planning and executing paid media campaigns to amplify organic efforts and achieve specific KPIs (awareness, engagement, conversion).
  • Allocate spend effectively across platforms and campaigns based on performance data and strategic priorities.

4. Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics weekly/monthly (engagement rate, reach, follower growth, website clicks).
  • Use insights from platforms like TikTok Analytics and Google Analytics to relentlessly refine content strategy and prove ROI.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.

5. Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create content that fuels top-of-funnel ad campaigns.
  • Partner with the design team to brief in and create stunning visuals and video assets.
  • Collaborate with education teams to highlight key product benefits and professional techniques.

6. Influencer & Creator Collaboration:

  • Strategic Identification & Vetting: Proactively research and identify key micro and macro-influencers, content creators, and professional stylists globally whose audience, aesthetic, and values align with GK Hair's premium brand positioning.
  • End-to-End Campaign Management: Lead the entire collaboration lifecycle, including outreach, negotiation, contract management, creative briefing, product seeding/gifting, and timeline coordination to ensure flawless execution.
  • Performance Tracking & Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using key metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI) to evaluate success and provide actionable insights for future strategy.
  • Relationship Nurturing & Program Growth: Foster long-term, authentic partnerships with top-performing creators to build a loyal network of brand ambassadors and continuously refine the influencer program strategy.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing brand social media accounts, preferably in the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle space.
  • Direct experience within the beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or lifestyle industry is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest) and their best practices. Hands-on experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube shorts. You must understand what performs well on each platform and why.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a flawless command of English.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, design tools (Canva required), and analytics platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and how it relates to social content is a strong plus.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members or coordinators, establishing best practices, workflows, and quality standards.
  • Drive the team's professional development by staying ahead of platform innovations and sharing knowledge on emerging trends and tools.
