We are hiring an experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant I will have wide-ranging responsibility over the accounting function and day-to-day activities of the department.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, the Accountant I will:
• General accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Update and process routine and/or recurring journal entries
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare GL account reconciliations and research variances
• Maintain fixed asset and monthly depreciation schedules
• File monthly and quarterly sales and use tax payments and returns
• Process overflow work/fill in where needed in support of Accounts Receivable Specialist and
• Accounts Payable Specialist
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Experience

• AA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience as Accounting Clerk, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable or Accounts
• Receivable Specialist
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One is a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
