About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our expanding team in Lahore. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for a finance professional who values accuracy, client service, and a forward-thinking work environment.

In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting functions, collaborate with internal and external teams, and contribute to driving efficiency in financial operations. You’ll be expected to go beyond traditional bookkeeping, supporting strategic financial reporting and process improvement as part of a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, periodic, and ad-hoc financial reporting

• Collaborate closely with clients, respond to emails in real time, and maintain strong communication

• Support the finance team by updating records, verifying data, and preparing documentation

• Oversee credit control processes and petty cash handling

• Contribute to accounting system improvements and internal workflow redesigns

• Lead or participate in finance-related projects that support company-wide goals

• Prepare reports that provide insights for strategic decision-making

• Strengthening client relationships through accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery

Qualifications and Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (Qualified/Finalist), FCCA, or equivalent qualification

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in international or outsourced accounting

• Strong command of NetSuite and QuickBooks Online; experience with Sage300, Xero, or Wave is a plus

• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial management, and forecasting

• Proven track record of working with accounting software and leading process improvements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Analytical thinker with leadership potential and collaborative mindset

• Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and timelines
