Staff Accountant
This is a remote position.
Who We Are
SFIR Consulting Ltd. is a boutique accounting and consulting firm redefining how accounting is done. We are looking to hire dynamic Bookkeepers based in Pakistan in a full-time, remote role to support our growing client base. This is a client-facing position that requires you to engage with clients over email and the occasional video call.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple clients.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review and produce financial statements.
- Understand subledgers and intercompany transactions.
- Assist with tax filing preparation, month-end and year-end close.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize our CRM and Project Management tools and other administrative work.
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned (expense reporting, account reconciliations, etc.)
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education in Accounting or related field in English.
- Reside in Pakistan
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and other accounting-related platforms.
- A strong aptitude for learning new systems and approaches.
- The ability to navigate new cloud-based software such as Zoho Books, Freshbooks, Sage, AccountEdge, etc.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking skills while working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills in English
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the company's financial information as well as its clients.
- A dedicated space to perform work remotely and neatly with minimal interruption.
- Provide at least 2 references.
