STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Healix, LLC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our corporate team as a full-time Staff Accountant! This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting who oversees the accounting team. Our team is seeking a candidate who can collaborate with internal and external team members in a positive and professional manner. Our services we deliver extend not only to our clients and patients but also to colleagues and vendors that we work with daily. We’re excited to bring aboard a motivated professional who enjoys working with others and supports our daily operations.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday; corporate operating hours of 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. This an in-office position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and post entries such as prepaids, inventory, fixed assets, and expense allocations
  • Perform monthly expense analysis to ensure transactions and accruals are properly recorded
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist in maintaining monthly reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts; research and resolve variances
  • Coordinate with HR on reconciliation of benefit withholdings
  • Assist in preparing documentation for external auditors
  • Communicates with clients and fellow employees through written and verbal forms, clearly and timely.
  • Interacts professionally with clients and fellow employees.
  • Cooperates with team members to accomplish departmental goals.
  • Accepts and incorporates changes or new ideas into daily work.
  • Provides service in a responsive, timely and accurate manner to both clients and fellow employees.
  • Understands and adheres to policies and procedures.
  • Arrives at work as scheduled and notifies supervisors in a timely manner of any absences.
  • Recognizes priorities and takes action; makes productive use of time.
  • Strives to resolve problems and conflicts on his/her own initiative.
  • Attempts to create new ideas or new procedures working as part of a group or individually.
  • As a part of your job, you will receive protected health information. It is your duty to comply with HIPAA in using and disclosing that protected health information.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accounting degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Netsuite experience is a huge plus!
  • Knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry preferred but not required.
