Staff Accountant

Arkansas Talent Group is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant (Remote) to join our client's team! This role requires strong attention to detail, a sound understanding of basic accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• • Monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
  • Account reconciliations & financial statements
  • Client payroll processing
  • Individual and business tax return preparation
  • Maintain organized electronic files
  • Assist with client projects as needed

Qualifications

• • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • 1–3+ years public accounting experience preferred
  • QuickBooks Online experience
  • Tax preparation experience
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • CPA candidate preferred but not required
  • MUST be in the Central Arkansas area
