Role Overview
We are seeking a high-integrity Staff Accountant to serve as a cornerstone of our finance team. In this role, you will go beyond basic bookkeeping to ensure the fiscal readiness of our global operations. You will be responsible for the accuracy of our financial records, the strength of our internal controls, and the continuous improvement of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management: Lead the full AP lifecycle, including compiling, processing, and maintaining precise records.
• Verification & Reconciliation: Match invoices to purchase orders and reconcile vendor statement with military –grade precision.
• Fiscal Stewardship: Manage prepaid and accrued expenses, process credits, and proactively capture available vendor discounts.
• Compliance & Audition: Audit expense reports to ensure 100% alignment with company policy and federal regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in special projects and process enhancements to drive departmental efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy required
• Experience: 2+ years of corporate or public accounting experience
• Technical Proficiency: 5+ years of experience in a Microsoft Office environment (advanced Excel Skills) and QuickBooks
• Mission Mindset: A proactive, self-motivated problem solver with a sense of urgency
• Communication: Relations-driven professional with impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: Experience with government contract and specialized invoicing methods is a significant plus
• Required: Pass drug screening test, background check, credit check
