Staff Attorney

EDELSON PC is a law firm concentrating on high-stakes plaintiffs' work. We are currently seeking Staff Attorneys to work on large-scale mass tort litigation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee and conduct all phases of discovery
• Prepare clients for and defend clients at depositions; take depositions of experts and opposing parties
• Maintain regular communication with clients via phone and email, providing case updates and gathering necessary information
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
• Drive cases forward by proactively managing complex dockets, deadlines, and competing priorities

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• State bar license
• 2-5 years of experience at a personal injury law firm
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

The expected salary range for this position is $125,000-$150,000. Compensation also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
