What You’ll Do

As a Staff Auditor at Miller CPAs and Advisors, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working on audit engagements for a diverse client base. You’ll build your technical skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute meaningfully to client deliverables while developing a strong foundation in public accounting.

  • Perform audit fieldwork including testing, documentation, and analysis
  • Prepare work papers in accordance with firm standards and professional guidelines
  • Assist with audit planning and financial statement preparation
  • Communicate with engagement team members regarding progress and issues
  • Follow audit programs and complete assigned sections accurately and timely
  • Learn and apply GAAP, GAAS, and firm audit methodologies
  • Accept feedback and actively seek learning opportunities
  • Support the audit team during peak seasons and deadlines

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA eligibility or intent to pursue CPA licensure
  • Audit Internship or 1–2 years of public accounting audit experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in public accounting
  • Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during peak seasons
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability

Pay: $58,160.32 - $71,816.73 per year
