Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $35.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).


This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 101 Blair Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603.

The Training Lead is responsible for communicating training policies and procedures across the organization related to State and Agency timekeeping and payroll system. This person will also coordinate role analysis and coordinate the Timekeeping & Payroll UKG Workforce Dimensions training for the organization. General Responsibilities: • Develop domain expertise in State and Division timekeeping policies and procedures• Must have Domain Knowledge of the UKG Workforce Dimension System • Manage the train the trainer strategy for the Division working with the vendor, business owner, and other operational leaders• Coordination of the trainer the trainer enrollment and program delivery working with the vendor.• Develop processes for staff, providers, and managers to escalate questions and concerns about UKG Workforce Dimensions classes assignments and registration.• Provide UKG staff with the appropriate data to import trainee information into the UKG Training Platform• Communicate training registration and completion data from UKG to operational and project leadership• Ensure all trainers have appropriate Workforce Dimensions training tracks assigned and are registered for UKG classes.• Work with Staff development to upload training curriculum into the State LMS system •Develop additional training materials related to timekeeping and payroll procedures to supplement application training• Work with technical and operational team to conduct needs assessment for additional course and training materials development for end users• Coach staff members and end users on UKG WFD functionality as needed via virtual and in person meetings • Develop reporting metrics to monitor the training of staff progress and proficiency • Communicate with trainers throughout the project to ensure that they are staying engaged and are prepared to support end-user training and readiness• Support end user training, go-live readiness, and end user adoption• Leads and facilitates virtual and in-person learning sessions and enablement workshops to enhance new employee skills and knowledge on the system• Experience with project management methodologies

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s degree in a human service related field, such as Sociology, Psychology, Education, or Health Education; or a degree providing background in organizational analysis and management development, from an appropriately accredited institution with two years of experience in a progressive training role, which includes some administrative/coordinative duties in staff development, with two years being in the work area assigned, or a related program area; or

Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field, such as Sociology, Psychology, Education, or Health Education; or a degree providing background in organizational analysis and management development, from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in a progressive training role, which includes some administrative/coordinative duties in staff development, with two years being in the work area assigned, or a related program area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
