Staff Nurse – Job Responsibilities1. Direct Patient Care
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based bedside care.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and clinical changes.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, injections, and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
- Support patients with daily living activities (feeding, mobility, hygiene, positioning).
2. Clinical & Technical Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain wards, ICUs, OTs, and dialysis units as per standards.
- Handle biomedical equipment (monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, dialysis machines, ECG machines, etc.).
- Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, and transfer to labs.
- Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures; follow infection control protocols strictly.
- Respond promptly to code blue/medical emergencies.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately document patient care in case sheets, nursing notes, and electronic medical records.
- Maintain drug records, stock registers, and equipment usage logs.
- Report any unusual symptoms, incidents, or patient complaints to the Nursing In-charge/Doctors.
- Support preparation of reports for NABH and other quality audits.
4. Medication & Safety
- Administer medicines following the five rights (right patient, drug, dose, route, time).
- Check drug expiry dates, storage conditions, and maintain emergency drug trays.
- Follow protocols for handling high-risk medications (e.g., chemotherapy, insulin, narcotics).
- Prevent hospital-acquired infections by adhering to hand hygiene and PPE guidelines.
5. Patient & Family Support
- Educate patients and attendants about disease conditions, diet, medications, discharge instructions.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during treatment and recovery.
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
6. Coordination & Teamwork
- Work in coordination with doctors, physiotherapists, dieticians, lab, and pharmacy teams.
- Assist during procedures in ICU/OT/Dialysis as required.
- Hand over patient details clearly during shift changes.
- Participate in hospital activities, awareness camps, and training sessions.
7. Professional Growth & Training
- Attend regular CME, in-service education, and skill training programs.
- Stay updated with nursing protocols and hospital policies.
- Support orientation of new nurses, interns, and students.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
