Staff Nurse

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Experience:

• 1-2 Years relevant (experience in Emergency unit will be preferred).

Skills:

• Team building.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient's assessment on admission as well or whenever it requires.
• Re-assessment of assigned patient to identify care needs and document accurately.
• Provide safe, clean environment by following infection control policies.
• Identify priority as per patient acuity and organize workload.
• Provide best quality care according to patient’s need assessment.
• Administer Medication safely, before administering provide information of medications.
• Monitor response of patient to medication and if problem identify report promptly.
• Safe handling and proper use of equipment/supplies.
• Assess nutritional need of patient & involve Nutritionist. Also discuss with Physician.
• Monitor patients on temporary and permanent Pace maker.
• Ability to handle high risk patients.
• Maintain & monitors medical inventory record.
• Aware of reportable patients in units.
• Coordinate with support services on need basis.
• Ready to handle disaster or an emergency situation promptly.
• Reassess patient’s health status & ensure quality nursing care is provided.
• Maintain flow sheet.
• Report incidents timely.
