Staff Nurse

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a senior nurse or physician. They are responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and delivering nursing care, and evaluating outcomes. The role requires a compassionate approach, strong clinical skills, and adherence to healthcare standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with established nursing protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions to physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and analyze results as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care provided.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and home care.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in training and professional development as required.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and perform first aid or CPR as needed.
