Staff Nurse

Core responsibilities

• Patient care: Assess patient health, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and assist with personal hygiene and comfort.
• Collaboration: Coordinate care with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including symptoms, medical history, and treatment progress.
• Patient and family education: Provide information and counseling to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Assisting medical staff: Help doctors during examinations and medical procedures, and participate in rounds with physicians and other staff.
• Compliance and safety: Ensure all care meets healthcare regulations and standards, and contribute to a safe and clean working environment.
• Assist with admissions and discharges.
• Participate in health education programs and in-service training.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Manage ward supplies, including tracking dangerous drugs and keeping inventories.
