Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols
- Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, blood sugar, etc.)
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and insulin as prescribed by the doctor
- Assist doctors during patient examination and procedures
- Perform wound care, dressing, and basic patient procedures
- Educate patients and attendants on diabetes care, medication, diet, and lifestyle management
- Maintain accurate nursing records and patient charts
- Ensure infection control practices and patient safety standards
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing supervisors, and other departments
- Handle emergency situations and provide first-level care
- Maintain cleanliness and proper use of medical equipment
Skills Required:
- Good clinical and observation skills
- Knowledge of diabetes care (preferred)
- Good communication skills in Tamil (English knowledge is an advantage)
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Ability to work in shifts
Experience:
- Freshers / Experienced candidates can apply
- Experience in hospital or diabetes care is an added advantage
