Staff Nurse

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse (Fresher) – Day Care is responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients admitted for short-term procedures and treatments. The nurse will assist doctors, monitor patients during pre- and post-procedure periods, and ensure safe discharge within the same day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to day care patients as per doctor’s instructions.
• Monitor and record vital signs before and after procedures.
• Prepare patients for minor procedures, scans, infusions, or short-term treatments.
• Assist doctors during procedures when required.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and injections as prescribed.
• Observe patients during recovery and report any abnormal findings immediately.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
• Educate patients and attenders about post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of day care unit.

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Sc Nursing / GNM qualification from a recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Council Registration.
• Freshers can apply.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in fixed day shift only.

Working Hours:

• Day Shift Only (as per hospital timing).
• Weekly off as per management policy.
