The opportunity
As a Staff Optical Engineer within the Waveguide Analysis & Root-cause Physics (WARP) team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the deep understanding of waveguide design, fabrication, and metrology, and ultimately contribute to building and delivering the best AR displays on the market. The WARP team bridges front-end design with analysis of manufactured waveguides to understand and mitigate data discrepancies, and ultimately increase production yield. Lessons learned by the WARP Team are essential to improving the waveguide optimization process and moving production into higher volumes for the wider adoption of comfortable, affordable, high-performing AR displays. As a member of the WARP team you will be directly contributing to the advancement of AR displays that have the potential of being worn by millions of users.
