Always Best Care of Greater Lexington, a provider of non medical in home care to seniors, has an opening for the position of Home Care Scheduler and Staffing Coordinator.

Responsibilities include the following:
- Scheduling Care Providers to all home and community care cases, while meeting high standards for quality in terms of staff consistency and skills match
- Resolving staffing issues due to Care staff emergencies or mishaps
- Proactively resolving staffing issues as a result of changes to staffing or client schedules
- Maintaining attendance records of all Care personnel
- Notifying management of all staffing problems, resolved and unresolved, in a timely manner.
- Updating and maintaining accurate Care Provider availability in the scheduling system and reporting out on gaps and hiring needs
- Assisting with interviewing and onboarding new Care Providers
- Peforming as the admin on call during the week, weekend, and holidays on a rotating basis with other office personnel
- Verifying clock in and out times with schedules for payroll and billing
- Maintaining and respecting confidentiality of client, employee, and agency information to ensure privacy is protected
- Able and willing to jump in and cover a client in the case of a staffing emergency
- Building excellent, professional relationships with Care staff, ensuring they understand and follow company policy as well as feel their needs are being met
- Building excellent, professional relationships with Clients by cheerfully and proactively responding to requests, and communicating changes in schedule or staffing
- Helps to control costs through effective, efficient schedules and participation in Leadership team initiatives
- Assisting with orientation and Care Team training set up and monitoring
- Maintaining a cheerful, professional presence in the office to greet visitors and assist with events and meetings
- Other office duties as requested
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
- Being disciplined with documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully both verbally and in writing no matter the situation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with excellent computer and smart phone skills
- A can do, problem solving mindset with the ability to solve hard puzzles
- Must be a team player willing to pitch in and do what needs to be done
- Must be willing to meet people where they are and communicate in the way they respond to best
- Some experience scheduling for a private duty, home health, or in home care agency is a plus
- Some background in Caregiving is desired, family or professional. This is also a great job for an SRNA/CNA who would like to move more into the business side of things but still enjoys taking care of people.
- The ability to adapt to an ever changing environment and maintain a positive, professional demeanor is a must
- A reliable car with insurance is required, as well as the willingness to transport clients and caregivers as needed
- Must have excellent, verifiable references
- An associates or bachelor degree in human resources, operational management, or similar field is plus!
