Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Staffing Coordinator to manage daily staffing needs in a long-term care facility. This role ensures proper coverage for all shifts, responds to call-outs, and maintains accurate scheduling and attendance records to support quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain staff schedules for nursing and support staff
Monitor daily staffing levels and arrange coverage for call-outs and absences
Coordinate overtime, per diem, and agency staff as needed
Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping records
Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and staff
Ensure compliance with staffing regulations and facility policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of scheduling or administrative experience (healthcare preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Proficiency with scheduling and timekeeping systems
Compensation: $23/hr, plus excellent benefits.
