Stakeholder Specialist Engineer

About the Role

COENGR is seeking a qualified Authority & Stakeholder Specialist with an Architectural or BIM Architecture background to handle project submissions, permits, and approvals across various Abu Dhabi authorities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using government systems such as MEPS, TAMM, AIDAS, and other approval platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of authority regulations, design documentation, and effective stakeholder management to ensure timely project approvals and compliance with local standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage authority submission packages for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Coordinate directly with government authorities and stakeholders including ADM, DMT, ADDC, ADCD, DOT, RAKEZ, AD Ports, KEZAD, Aldar, and others.
• Utilize and navigate Abu Dhabi’s approval systems (MEPS, TAMM, AIDAS, and other portals) to process submissions efficiently.
• Ensure all designs and documents are in line with local authority standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Track, monitor, and follow up on approval statuses to ensure timely project clearances.
• Work closely with internal Architectural / BIM teams to align drawings and models with authority requirements.
• Provide updates, reports, and logs of submission progress to management and clients.
• Maintain professional relationships with authority representatives and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
• 5 years of experience in authority liaison / approvals, within Abu Dhabi.
• Strong background in Architecture / BIM Architecture, with knowledge of design documentation.
• Proven experience using MEPS, TAMM, AIDAS and other UAE authority submission portals.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM workflows is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of local codes, regulations, and authority procedures.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
