Main Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, courteous, and professional customer service as a primary point of contact.

Lead, train, schedule, and supervise Starbucks clerks to ensure appropriate staffing and performance.

Drive department results by increasing sales, improving profitability, and controlling costs.

Oversee daily Starbucks operations, including beverage preparation, order fulfillment, and customer transactions.

Manage inventory, place orders, conduct counts, and rotate products to ensure freshness and availability.

Ensure compliance with company, Starbucks corporate, food safety, and audit requirements.

Maintain accurate required logs, including temperature and compliance documentation.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized café environment and work area.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Retail and food service operations management.

Team supervision, training, and workforce scheduling.

Cash handling, register operation, and basic cash-office functions.

Inventory control, ordering, and shrink awareness.

Compliance monitoring and audit readiness.

Visual merchandising and café presentation.

Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation methods, equipment, and beverage recipes.

Ability to memorize drink formulas, PLU codes, and operating procedures.

Working knowledge of food safety requirements and certifications.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Ability to multitask, stay focused, and work under pressure.

Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts.

Flexibility to work varied shifts in a 24-hour retail operation.

Pay Transparency:

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.

For roles in Washington State: Sick pay and PTO/Vacation pay are accrued based on hours worked and paid holidays are issued at 7-9 days annually.
