Startup Manager

We are looking for a Startup Manager to act as founder for our client that specializes in developing advanced enterprise software via Machine Learning and Operation Research algorithms. Our product helps businesses automate and optimize their operations, allowing them to stay ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving digital landscape. We are looking for a dynamic Startup Manager to join our team and help us define to pivot the company based on available capabilities and draw growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement the overall strategic plan including pivoting for the company, in consultation with the executive team, that aligns with the company's vision and goals

- Drive growth via triggering current and potential clients

-Oversee day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all departments are functioning effectively and efficiently

-Build and manage a team of technical experts and entrepreneurs to accelerate product definition and development and bring new products to market quickly

-Identify and prioritize new customer opportunities and work with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business

-Use your experience in start-ups and entrepreneurialism to drive innovation, manage risk and maintain a customer-centric focus

-Continuously monitor industry trends and competition, and adjust the company's strategy as needed

-Ensure that the company is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations

-Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth

Requirements:

-Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Science, Data Science, General Engineering, or related disciplines from a reputable university

-5+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in a start-up environment, with experience in developing and implementing business strategies, and managing technical teams

-Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of success in building and leading high-performing teams

-A strong technical background in Data Science, Machine Learning Algorithms, Statistics, and Software Development

-Ability to identify new customer opportunities and work with existing customers, and experience in selling software products

-A team player able to work well with the technical team to prioritize projects and accelerate time to market for new products

-Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven ability to innovate and drive change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

-Fluency in written/spoken English
