Required Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, with a focus on steel structures preferred.
- Experience: Relevant work experience (minimum 5 years) in structural engineering, particularly with steel design and construction.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design structural steel frameworks for buildings, warehouses, and other infrastructure.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and safety of steel structures.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
- Review and approve detailed construction drawings and blueprints.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction techniques for each project.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Ensure that all designs comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to address design-related issues during construction.
- Assist in the development of cost estimates and project timelines.
- Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and recommendations.
