Steel Structural Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, with a focus on steel structures preferred.
• Experience: Relevant work experience (minimum 5 years) in structural engineering, particularly with steel design and construction.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Design structural steel frameworks for buildings, warehouses, and other infrastructure.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and safety of steel structures.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
• Review and approve detailed construction drawings and blueprints.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction techniques for each project.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Ensure that all designs comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to address design-related issues during construction.
• Assist in the development of cost estimates and project timelines.
• Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and recommendations.
