Steel Structure Engineer ( Dubai Municipality approved )

We are seeking a qualified and Dubai Municipality-approved Steel Engineer to oversee and manage the structural steel works of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all steel designs and site executions comply with relevant local regulations, Dubai Municipality standards, and international engineering codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate structural steel designs and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, BS, AISC, and/or Eurocodes.
• Approve design changes in line with engineering best practices and client specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison for steel structure approvals with Dubai Municipality.
• Prepare and submit structural documentation for DM approval (designs, calculations, shop drawings).
• Attend technical meetings or inspections with DM engineers when required.
• Monitor the execution of steel works at the site to ensure adherence to approved drawings and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and fabricators.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Prepare structural calculation reports, method statements, and QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure all steel materials and welding activities meet the required specifications and certification.
• Maintain project records in compliance with DM audit requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project managers.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of steel materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Dubai Municipality approval as a Steel Engineer (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in structural steel works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Tekla Structures (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of steel detailing, fabrication, and erection processes.
