Minimal dental experience is required as well as an open mind and an eagerness to learn. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries

- sterilize instruments and prepare trays for patient care
- assist doctor or hygienist chairside as needed; opportunity to transition to full time dental assistant is available.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry
- Provide personal assistance to the dental office team as needed

Qualifications:
- willingness to learn and work as a team

-willingness to undergo training as necessary to increase skills and provide more value to our patients

- CPR training can be provided, and is necessary to work with patients
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing clerical tasks
