Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and equipment.
- Wash, dry, and properly store all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans after each use.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen setup as required.
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal according to hygiene standards.
- Check and replenish kitchen cleaning supplies regularly.
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and safety protocols in the workplace.
- Support chefs and kitchen team during busy operations as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness of floors, walls, and storage areas at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Steward or Kitchen Helper in the F&B industry preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Good team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety precautions.
