Steward:
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Steward to support our kitchen and Food & Beverage operations at a prestigious 5-star resort. The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and storage areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently and hygienically
- Ensure proper garbage segregation and disposal as per hygiene standards
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas
- Support kitchen staff with basic tasks when required
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP standards)
- Keep work areas organized and free of hazards
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries when needed
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant (preferably 4-star/5-star)
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
