The Stock Assistant will support the Retail and Logistics teams in maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring efficient stockroom operations, and delivering an excellent in-store experience. Working closely with Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers and the Logistics team, the role contributes to stock replenishment, inventory control, back-of-house organisation and timely fulfilment of customer and store requests.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders

Unpack, label and ticket merchandise in line with Store standards

Maintain an organised and safe stockroom; ensure stock is stored, rotated and displayed in line with guidelines

Support regular stock counts, cycle counts and stock reconciliations, reporting variances promptly

Replenish shop floor merchandise efficiently to maintain visual standards and product availability

Prepare and pull stock for client appointments, reservations and special orders

Assist the team with transfers between stores and coordinate handovers with Logistics

Support visual merchandising and store set-up as required to uphold the Maison presentation

Pack and prepare customer orders for collection or dispatch following packaging and presentation standards

Manage returns and exchanges accurately, ensuring timely processing and restocking

Work with the Logistics team to track deliveries and resolve any fulfilment issues

Maintain accurate stock records across internal systems and update inventory tracking tools

Support reporting activities, including stock movement logs and low-stock alerts

Flag discrepancies, damaged goods or trends in product movement to the Store Manager and Logistics

Contribute to process improvements that enhance stock accuracy and efficiency
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience (1–3 years) in stock, warehouse or retail store back-of-house operations, preferably within a ecommerce, omni channel or quick commerce

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to accuracy

Organised and reliable with the ability to manage competing priorities

Physically able to handle stock movement, including lifting and prolonged periods on your feet

Basic IT literacy with experience using inventory or POS systems

Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude

Flexible approach to working hours, including peak trading periods
