Job Summary
The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and proper control of inventory across warehouses and production locations. This role monitors stock movements, reconciles physical and system quantities, validates material consumption, and ensures correct SAP transactions to maintain reliable inventory valuation and reporting. The position plays a critical role in supporting production continuity, financial accuracy, and internal control compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Monitoring & Control

Monitor daily stock movements including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.

Ensure accuracy of inventory balances in SAP versus physical stock.

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, negative stock balances, and system inconsistencies.

Control raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods inventory levels.
SAP & System Management

Perform and review SAP transactions related to inventory (Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Transfer Postings, Physical Inventory, Adjustments).

Monitor and resolve COGI (Cost of Goods Sold) errors in coordination with relevant departments.

Validate production order material consumption and ensure accurate posting in SAP.

Coordinate with Production and R&D teams to correct BOM discrepancies when needed.
Reporting & Analysis

Prepare periodic inventory reports including aging analysis, slow-moving and obsolete items, and stock valuation reports.

Support monthly and year-end inventory closing processes.

Assist Finance in inventory reconciliation and audit requirements.

Participate in physical inventory counts and ensure accurate system updates.
Compliance & Internal Control

Maintain strong internal controls over inventory transactions.

Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to stock management.

Support internal and external audits related to inventory and warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment.

Experience in multinational or production-based companies is preferred.

Strong knowledge of SAP inventory modules (MM / PP preferred).

Solid understanding of inventory valuation and cost control.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with BOM structures and production processes is an advantage.
