The Stock Keeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory of raw materials and finished goods in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures proper storage, accurate stock records, timely issuance of materials, and adherence to safety and inventory control procedures.

Job description:

• Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation and effective inventory management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely stock replenishment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, stock status, and staff performance.
• Manage store expenses and ensure cost control without compromising service quality and standards.
• Maintain and update the material inward and outward register accurately.
• Follow up with vendors for material inward and assist in developing new vendor relationships.
• Utilize systems such as Excel and Tally for store operations and documentation.
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) based on monthly requirements. Must be organized and punctual.
• Well-presented and professional.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Proficient in Microsoft Office

*Keep a record of sales and restock the store accordingly.

*Manage and train store staff.

*Plan promotional campaigns for new products or specials

*+2/ITI/Diploma/Degree or above

*More than 3 years experience as store keeper in production units

*Food & Accommodation available

Sulur, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
