Job Description


The Stock Planner / Data Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing inventory management and sales performance. This role requires analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Retail Supply Chain team, Logistics, Category Management, Sales, and Finance to support data-driven decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop merchandising strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Analyze historical sales data and forecast future trends.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement markdown and clearance strategies to optimize stock turnover.
  • Plan and execute strategies for seasonal and holiday sales.
  • Collaborate with buyers and cross-functional teams to ensure product availability.
  • Gather and analyze customer and sales team feedback, making data-driven adjustments.
  • Monitor industry trends, conduct price benchmarking, and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Generate and present regular reports on inventory, sales performance, and stock planning.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Business Control, or a related field. Experience in a similar role within an international retail environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
