In this energetic position, you will ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and appealing while delivering exceptional customer service at the checkout counter.

Duties

• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are properly displayed and organized according to merchandising standards
• Assist customers with product inquiries, providing product demos when applicable to enhance their shopping experience
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
• Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
• Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and restocking items as needed

Requirements

• Supervising experience is a plus, especially in retail or grocery store environments
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads throughout shifts in a fast-paced grocery store setting
