Store Assistant

Kuala, India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the store/warehouse related to facade and cladding materials (e.g., aluminum panels, glass systems, brackets, fixings, insulation, etc.)
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using [mention software if any, e.g., ERP, SAP].
  • Coordinate material dispatch to project sites in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and project management teams.
  • Supervise store assistants and warehouse staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols in the store area.
  • Prepare periodic reports on stock status and store activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or Store Manager, preferably in the facade or construction materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of facade systems and cladding materials is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lead a small team and manage workloads effectively.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
