Job Title: Store Head (Mechanical)

Job Overview:
Chaplet International Pvt. Limited is seeking a highly organized and experienced Store Head to manage and oversee multiple stores within our manufacturing facility, including the Tool Store, Die Store, Semi-Finished Store, and Chemical Store etc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control, proper storage practices, and smooth coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage operations of all stores
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely stock updates in the system. (SAP B1)
• Implement and monitor proper storage, handling, and safety procedures, especially for chemicals and sensitive materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Quality departments for material planning and availability.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation for all inward and outward material movements.
• Optimize store layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Lead and train store staff to maintain discipline and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business Administration, DAE/ B-Tech Mechanical or relevant field.
• 4–6 years of experience in store/warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Experience handling technical stores (tools, dies) and chemical inventory is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
