Job Title: Store Incharge

Department: Stores / Material Management
Location: Nayagarh

Job Purpose:

To ensure efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment; maintain proper inventory records; and support project operations through effective material management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth material flow.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Conduct physical verification of stock periodically and reconcile with system records.
  • Prepare and maintain material receipt notes (MRN), issue slips, and stock registers.
  • Coordinate with the purchase and accounts departments for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and invoice verification.
  • Ensure proper storage, stacking, and labeling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintain records of consumables, spare parts, tools, and equipment issue/return.
  • Track and control wastage and ensure scrap disposal as per company policy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and audit requirements in the store area.
  • Support monthly and annual stock audits and prepare related reports.
  • Coordinate with site engineers for timely material issuance as per work requirements.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Commerce or Material Management).
  • Certification in Inventory / Store Management is an added advantage.
  • 4–8 years of experience in store management at construction, infrastructure, or industrial project sites.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
