A store in-charge in a construction company is responsible for overseeing the organization, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment at a construction site or a company's warehouse. • Inventory Management: Receiving, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining optimal stock levels, and managing stock rotation.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, including delivery and dispatch records.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to company policies.
• Supervision: Supervising store staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Material Handling: Overseeing the handling of freight, movement of equipment, and potentially minor repairs.
• Reporting: Preparing reports on inventory, stock levels, and other relevant data.
• Coordination: Coordinating with suppliers and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
